This unique product, which provided Adshel with a global advantage that enabled them to gain key contracts in the UK and North America, was initially developed for use in central London.
The use of reconstituted stone, cast iron, and timber hints at heritage architectural features, while modern methods of manufacture and the use of patented internal engineering technology bring the product up to date.
The excellence of the design and Adshel's resulting ability to obtain significant market share led to the product receiving an IDSA Industrial Design Excellence Award and gaining Millennium Product Status in the UK.
