As part of our wider development of a Hamilton City Pedestrian Wayfinding and Interpretation Strategy, DallowBoss was engaged by Kiwi Income Property Trust to develop a set of historical interpretation panels at four locations surrounding its redeveloped Centre Place shopping precinct in the heart of Hamilton.

The four panels celebrate habitation and land use of the site by māori and Europeans. They convey how this small area helped shape the city as it is today – from its start as a prosperous māori hunting and food cultivation area to a place of thundering railways and then a centre for modern commerce.
